No, we don’t currently send test kits outside of Europe. If you live in the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, or any other country outside of Europe, we can analyse your DNA data if you’ve had a test with another company.

Why don’t you ship to the US/Canada/Australia/New Zealand?

There are several reasons we don’t ship to countries outside Europe:

  • The insurance costs are high
  • Your saliva sample could degrade or get lost on the way back to the UK
  • It’s a waste of airmail when you can get a test with a different company within your country

But you can still get your DNA analysed with Vojo - even if you live in America. Here’s how.

How to get your DNA analysed with Vojo (if you live in the US or Canada)

Here’s how to get the Vojo DNA analysis without us sending you a DNA test kit:

1. Buy a DNA test kit from 23andMe, Ancestry or DNAfit

You’ll only need the cheapest version to get your raw genetic data. This is a CSV file (comma-separated values, if you’re interested) full of numbers and letters which is your genetic data before interpretation.

If you’ve already had a DNA test with a different company we haven’t listed, email us on [email protected] and check whether we can use the data before going on to the next step.

2. Download your raw data

Once you get your results, you’ll be able to download your raw data from your profile on whichever company you chose.

You might have to request it from some companies before it’s available for you to download.

It should be a .csv file.

3. Buy one of our DNA analysis packages

We have DNA analysis packages which are cheaper because they don’t include the DNA test kit. They’re for people who already have DNA data.

4. Send your raw data file to us

Once you’ve paid for the package, send your raw data file as an email attachment to [email protected].

Please use the same email address you used for the purchase or for your Vojo account.

5. Get your results within 48 hours* (*workdays)

Voila! The same results as everyone else, without the hassle of dealing with postage to and from the UK.
